Reservation request

The plan to create a Visual Arts Centre whose work would revolve around education and discussion of subjects concerning visual artists and the society of our day, would not be possible if, when using temporary exhibitions focussing on contemporary art, it did not build the necessary bridges reaching out towards exploration and debate, towards platforms built for dialogue and interaction and towards the dissemination of information from other theoretical and creative fields related to visual arts. During this first stage of the Centre, these matters will be dealt with by means of guided tours. These tours will be either general, for the general public, or will focus their attention on specific theoretical or artistic aspects of a particular exhibition. In addition, the guided tours for groups with reservations will cater to schools or to any other group requirements.
All of these tours are free of charge.

Activities

guided tours for groups with reservations

As complementary educational activities for its temporary exhibitions, the Visual Arts Centre offers guided tours for groups. These tours seek to expand, spread and build knowledge about the visual arts, in general, and about the concepts, works of art and artists featured in exhibitions, in particular.
The visits are adapted to the needs of each group –age, academic level, and specific curricular requirements– and also cater to a variety of standard educational levels for groups of infant, primary, secondary and college pupils. Teachers or supervisors can discuss the specific angle they would like to tackle with their group with the Centre’s staff prior to their visit.

  • Free | Reservations must be made at least 10 days before
  • Availability: Tuesday to Friday, between 10.00 and 13.00.
